Your right to opt out under U.S. state privacy laws

Reps pays you for recordings and task submissions and — after redaction and de-identification — licenses datasets built from them to third parties of all kinds — including AI research labs, robotics companies, and other enterprises and commercial partners. Out of caution, we treat this dataset licensing as a potential "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain U.S. state privacy laws, and we give every user the right to opt out. Details are in Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.

How to opt out

By email: send a request to support@earnreps.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share Request" from any address, including through an authorized agent. We will verify the request using the phone number on your account or other reasonable means.
Global Privacy Control: we honor GPC signals on our websites where required by law.
In the app: a dedicated in-app control is coming to Profile → Settings; until it ships, the email method above is the fastest way to opt out.

What happens when you opt out

Your future Recordings will not be included in newly licensed datasets. Content already incorporated into datasets, models, or deliverables is handled as described in Section 12 of the Privacy Policy and Section 9 of the Terms of Use. Because paid tasks fund the Service through dataset licensing, opting out may make you ineligible for some or all paid tasks — see the Notice of Financial Incentive in Section 11.4 of the Privacy Policy. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18, and we never sell biometric identifiers or biometric information.

We will confirm receipt of your request and respond within the time required by your state's law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
